RCDT provides simulation solutions that addresses all types of the simulation requirements, Physics based dynamic models, Procedure training simulators, Vehicle and Flight simulators. RCDT has a unique knowledge of Flight dynamics, sensor, weapon modeling and has developed and commissioned many simulators for multiple customers.
Aviation Exposure Station
RCDT has developed Aviation Exposure Station (AES) that will be very useful for all the Universities and Flight schools to attain basic idea of Circuit, Taxing, Take-off, Different approaches and landing to the students. AES is also allows the student to practice Hand to eye co-ordination, Appreciation of working instruments, Cockpit multitasking, Perform aerobatic maneuvers, Practice development of scan patterns and Practice right of way procedures.
The AES is based on X-Plane, FlightGear or Prepar3D as chosen by customer. The AES comes with an external Instructor station that can handle up to 10 student stations at the same time. AES can perform the following tasks in real time:
- Monitor and analyze the student flight.
- Inject Computer Generated Force entities and maneuver them.
- Reposition of the aircraft in ground and air.
- Freeze multiple attitude and simulation aspects.
- Inject different malfunctions.
- Change the weather and Environmental conditions.
- Record and replay of the complete flights of the student for up to 120 minute.
The AES flight simulation can run the student display in virtual instrument mode, Instrument panel mode or with Saitek Pro Cockpit Instruments with respect to customer needs.
Boeing 737-NG Flight Simulator
RCDT has created a Flight Simulator for Boeing 737-NG Aircraft. This Simulator is an EASA FNPT-II Qualifiable.
Our Instructor Operation Station (IOS) is capable of integrating with X-Plane or prepare 3D as per customer choice and capable of controlling Environment, Weather, Simulating different Air, Ground emergencies and Aircraft positioning (In Ground/Air – Taxing, Take-off, Landing approach or level flight) for the pilot training in real time. IOS has simple user interfaces that allows instructor to monitor, instruct, and analyze the student pilots. IOS posses an exhaustive malfunction list to every training needs for FNPT-II level.
The aircraft Slew, Information monitoring, Approach and Take-off analysis plots are available at runtime along with multiple freeze and reset options.
Aircraft Visual Identification
Aircraft Visual Identification system (AVID) is to train gunners and lookouts in aircraft recognition skills and train them about potential threat.
The AVID has dedicated Instructor Station that can create different scenario by selecting set of multiple aircraft for identification training. The Instructor can train, monitor and evaluate up to 25 students at a same time.
The AVID has different environmental and weather conditions for the training like time of the day, different sea states and rain conditions etc.. AVID also has Binocular vision and Thermal image viewer options.
RCDT has developed and delivered a range of procedure trainers for efficient operator training on simulations of costly equipment. Control panels in either software or hardware using replica panels and instruments to provide maximum realism in training commensurate with the objectives of training.

The Surface Warfare System was delivered to INS-Drona. The system is a networked simulation with 12 computers, each with dual displays to simulate the surface warfare systems of the Talwar class of ships consisting of multiple radars, fire control modules, cruise missiles and guns. The simulator is used for training radar operators, gunners and commanders in assessing the tactical situation and threat, evaluating defensive and offensive operations, and following operation procedures to successfully eliminate the threat.
The Porpoise and DR3000 ESM simulator to INS-Satavahana. The system allows an Instructor to train four Porpoise and two DR3000 systems operators at the same time.
Talwar Class ships Anti Submarine Warfare Arm and Purga Fire Control Simulators for tactical training at ASW School, Kochi. The simulator consists of replica consoles of the Torpedo and Rocket fire control system and the ASW console of the C2 (CAAIO). An exercise controller is included for creating the threat scenario for training.
Talwar Class ships Navigation Arm and Helo-Operator Arm simulators for tactical training at ND School, Kochi. S-57 electronic nautical chart based tactical display are used and the system consists of the ND console of the C2 (CAAIO). An exercise controller is included for creating the threat scenario for training.
Diesel Monitoring System simulator for SSK submarine of Indian Navy. The simulator consists of replica DM Panel and an Instructor console for monitoring the watch keeper as well injecting faults and situations to stimulate the watch keeper to take proper procedural actions on warnings and emergencies.
