Robust Controller for Ramjet system
We have designed a robust controller for an air breathing propulsion system (ramjet) using conventional and modern control theory over two years for a foreign University. The mathematical models of the propulsion system was provided by the University. This was followed by the complete design of an Air Data System, Failure identification, isolation and redundancy management algorithms for propulsion system control with triplex redundancy including a Flush Air Data System for Mach number, dynamic pressure, altitude and angle of attack for scheduling the controller parameters.
Divert and Attitude Control System
We had designed and delivered a Divert and Attitude Control System for a foreign Client and have developed a design for a dual combustion ramjet engine and are presently working with them on the design of an interceptor for kinetic interception of ballistic missiles. Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) studies are also carried out to assist in design of the interceptor.
The DACS includes many parameters like mass of hardware, empty weight, Initial mass of propellant, dimensions of a propulsion chamber, nozzle and atmospheric effects etc.., in the mathematical model. The visual system is connected with the math model. The visual system allows the customer to see the functional implementation of the mathematical model in 3D world. The visual display can be performed on live data or from the saved data files.
The customer can view and analyze the computed (output) data of the mathematical model in graphical form.
